POP! - Parent/Child SKU Possible Errors – Zulily Vendor Portal Help Center

When uploading the template in POP!, you may see an error message if the Parentage and Parent SKU columns are filled out incorrectly. These errors appear on the POP! upload screen. See the possible errors and solutions pictured below:

The number indicates how many products have an error
Click the down arrow icon to download the errors onto an excel sheet
Once the errors are fixed, copy the updated information onto a POP! template and reupload

Before reuploading, be sure to delete the previous upload. If the original upload is not deleted then it is possible duplicate styles will be created.

Error Message	What it Means
Color for the child is missing	When a row defined as child has no color defined, this row will not be ingested and will appear in the issues area on the POP! upload screen. To fix: Click the down arrow icon to download the errors onto an excel sheet Update the Vendor Product Color column, copy the updated information onto a POP! template, delete the style(s) from the previous upload, and then reupload
Parentage is missing	When a row has a size other than One-Size, but has no Parentage value (Parent/Child/Not Applicable) we do not know if it is a parent or child. So it will not be ingested. To fix: Enter "Not Applicable" in the Parentage column or Enter One-Size in the Vendor Size column and leave the "Parentage" column blank.
Parent Vendor SKU is missing	When a row defined as child has no value in the Parent Vendor SKU column, we do not know which SKU is the parent, so this row will not be ingested. To fix: Click the down arrow icon to download the errors onto an excel sheet Update the Parent Vendor SKU column, copy the updated information onto a POP! template, delete the style(s) from the previous upload and then reupload
Multiple styles have the same Style Name and color	This is an error for the parent rows when multiple rows defined as parents have the same Style Name + Color values. To fix: Click the down arrow icon to download the errors onto an excel sheet Change the Vendor Style Name for one of the styles so they no longer match, copy the updated information onto a POP! template, delete the style(s) from the previous upload if needed and then reupload
Multiple styles have the same Vendor SKU and color	This is an error for the parent rows indicating that multiple rows defined as parent have the same Vendor SKU + Color values. To fix: Click the down arrow icon to download the errors onto an excel sheet Change the Vendor Product Color for one of the styles so they no longer match, copy the updated information onto a POP! template, delete the style(s) from the previous upload if needed and then reupload
Your document has at least one of the following issues 'a. Multiple children from different styles have the same name and color or same vendor SKU and color 'b. Parent and child colors are mismatched 'c. Parent Vendor SKU is invalid 'd. Sizes cannot be added to a one-size style' 'e. Style names of parent and child are different.	a. "The style name + color or the vendor sku + color is repeated for this child row. (these are all the child rows from the above two examples) To fix: Update the information to ensure that the child SKUs match their designated Parent SKU. b. The color of this child does not match the parent To fix: Update the Vendor Product Color so the child SKU matches the Parent SKU. c. Parent vendor SKU specified for this child does not exist in the document. To fix: A child SKU can only be assigned to a Parent SKU on the template. Please add the designated Parent SKU to the template or designate a different Parent SKU. d. You are trying to add sizes to a one-size parent. To fix: Styles marked as One-Size cannot have multiple sizes. e. The style name of the child and parent is different. To fix: Update the Vendor Style Name of the child SKU to match the Parent SKU.
