Bulk Updates
One of the standout features of POP! is the ability to update style attributes in bulk. POP! contains various filters that enable the user to find styles with missing attributes in common, then update that group of styles all at once.
Filter Buttons
The first set of filters is located near the top of the page. These are the primary filters
- All Products
- Required Fixes
- Optional Fixes
All Products
- Selecting All Products displays every product from the uploaded template
- Click the Select All button to select every style
- You can also click and update one style at a time, or select multiple styles to work on a group
- Edit # Products button is greyed out until at least 1 style is selected
- Once the style selection is made, click Bulk Edit Products
Products with Required Fixes
- After selecting the initial filter, a list of secondary filters appears
- These filters represent categories of attributes and allow users to quickly edit what is important for their type of product
- When using these filters - POP will select the groups of products that have SHARED fixes.
- Both the primary and secondary filters can be used to find attributes that are missing across combinations of products
- For instance, if you click on Products with required fixes and Core, the tool will only show styles that are missing required attributes in the Core section
- Then the entire group of styles can be updated at once
- By default, all styles are selected when the filter button is clicked
- Deselect styles by clicking through one at a time, or clicking the Deselect All button
- Once style selection is complete, click Edit # Products
Products with Optional Fixes
- After selecting the initial filter, a list of secondary filters appears
- These filters represent categories of attributes and allow users to quickly edit what is important for their type of product
- When using these filters - POP will select the groups of products that have SHARED fixes.
- Both the primary and secondary filters can be used to find attributes that are missing across combinations of products
- For instance, if I click on optional fixes and Product Dimensions, the tool will only show me styles that are missing suggested attributes in the Product Dimensions section
- Then the entire group of styles can be updated at once
- By default, all styles are selected when the filter button is clicked
- Deselect styles by clicking through one at a time, or clicking the Deselect All button
- Once style selection is complete, click Edit # Products
Edit Panel
- After clicking the Edit # Products button, the Edit Panel appears
- If you selected a combination or group of products, the Edit panel will allow you to edit their shared attributes in one quick step.
- The number of styles is displayed at the top
- Any changes made in the panel will be applied to all selected styles
- Also located at the top of the panel is a progress indicator with a counter
- Attributes are broken up into categories notated by the circles
- Each category corresponds to a section in the template, such as Details and Compliance.
- The number represents missing attributes that are required for that section
- Fill out each section with all required information and as much suggested information as possible
- Sections do not have to be completed in a linear order; you can click on any of the circles to begin work on that section
- Missing Required attributes are highlighted in red
- Some fields are free to type in, others require a selection from a pulldown list
- Once a section is complete, click continue to move to the next section or click another circle to jump to that section of attributes
- Click the X to close the panel
- Click Save to keep your changes
- If you click out of the panel without saving your changes, a warning message will appear
- Hit Cancel to resume fixing products
- Click Leave to exit the Edit panel
