Q: What are attributes?
Product attributes are pieces of information that define your product, such as Style Name, Country of Origin, Cost, MSRP, etc. This information is used by many systems, from comparative pricing, the copy and image team, to our website for search and significance. The more attributes you give us for your product... the better your product will do!!
Q: Do attributes have character limits?
Character limits will be specified per attribute within the POP tool. For example, Vendor SKU cannot be more than 64 characters
Q: Why are some attributes optional?
Optional attributes are pieces of information that Zulily does not require for a style to run in events. We highly encourage vendors to provide suggested attributes in order to elevate product copy on the site, which provides a better shopping experience for our customers.
Q: Can vendors update their UPCs in POP?
No, vendors cannot change their UPCs in POP! Vendors can add a UPC to styles that did not already have one. If vendors wish to update a UPC for a reused style, they will need to reach out to their Zulily buying team.
Q: What is the difference between styles and products?
Zulily defines Style as the item + color
Example: Red T-Shirt
Zulily defines Product as the item+ color + size
Example: Red T-Shirt Small
Q: What is Prop65?
Prop65 is a California compliance requirement, if this does not apply you can note this as no in the POP interface or on the template.
Q: Why is 'Is Electric' a required attribute?
Some styles offered to Zulily have batteries/are electric. For compliance reasons we require this information, if this does not apply you can note this as no in the POP interface or on the template.
